Ghillie Tracks requires Internet Explorer 7 or greater to be installed on your computer. You do NOT have to use Internet Explorer, it just needs to be installed.

You can download Internet Explorer 8 from the Windows download page.

Note that Windows XP installs with Internet Explorer 6, so even if you have a brand new computer that came with Windows XP (e.g. a netbook), you will need to upgrade Internet Explorer.

You can duplicate your Ghillie Tracks configuration on another computer by:

  1. Install Ghillie Tracks on the new computer.

  2. Copy your music (if applicable) from your old computer to the new computer.

  3. Copy the gtracks.db and dd_ihave.db files from the Ghillie Tracks folder (e.g. c:\Ghillie Tracks) on the old computer to the Ghillie Tracks folder on the new computer.

  4. If the music on your new computer is at a different location than on the old computer, go to "General", "Music Preferences" in Ghillie Tracks on the new computer and change the "Music Top Level Folder".
